Leaving Cochrane in the evening with a much larger train and veteran SD40-2 1737 added for the influx of southbound tonnage the train will be over 70 cars ex “Welsh” (Porquis Junction). This may seem like a lot of traffic but it’s just a backlog of traffic due to service reductions following the 2008 recession. ONR hadn’t visited in a number of days as 213/414′s crew would only make the run north to Cochrane twice a week.
