Comments on: While I was hoping to catch Trillium’s new arrival JLCX 3502, (a former DRG&W GP35) in action, I can’t complain about a veteran MLW S-13. With Trillium’s sale to GO Rail the future of the railroads motive power is uncertain, especially for the MLW units. After loosing the train near their home base, I finally found them again an hour later in Port Colborne after working one of the elevators at the harbour. Here the crew have just finished lunch and are on the move again heading off the Government spur and back to the one time CN Dunnville subdivision, which today only survives as a few miles of tracks. From here the unit will run around its train at the end of track, then head north to work a couple more industries before heading home.

You're right, Marcus. Once you get east of Grimsby it is all falling apart. Except, of course, for residential former Torontonians.

Certainly not disappointed for sure. My trips down that may are much less these days. Way to depressing in the Niagara region for railway stuff since my early days in the 1990's. Not to mention the entire highway 3 corridor between Fort Erie and Windsor.

You're much better to get the 108 than the 3502. It looks like you had a great day. I went down there for the same reason (3502) and got the 108 myself, and realized after the 108 is a much better prize. You did well. (the 108 was at the elevators on the 10th of April...in equal sun!)
