Comments on: While not the most colourful paint scheme for a leased unit, the fact that these were all former CN SD40′s was enough to push me to photograph as many as possible. This morning when I arrived at Oakville yard this lone SD40-3 was finishing up working the south service track, I wasn’t sure if it was a small version of train 435 or just a unit left in the yard by an overnight train. After a few shots I raced to Burlington West where I found a nicely placed snow pile. It is always nice to work your car into photos from time to time to look back on, LOL. I believe the station was nearing the end of its restoration by this date only to be relocated and restored again years later.
