<title>Comments on: While on my way to Uxbridge to take my boys on York-Durham&#8217;s Haloween train, we passed through the village of Goodwood. The overgrown Uxbridge sub. travels through town and at a crossing off the main road I found an interesting shot I had to try on my return trip. At this location the line just Illustrates branchline railroading perfectly, with an old faded mile post marker as well as whistle posts and rusty old crossing signals, not to mention an overgrown roadbed warping around a small hillside with the last of the seasons fall colours holding on as long as possible. The last shot I saw of this crossing was in a book covering the last rail lines to Lindsay. My arrival at the current end of line in Uxbridge this day would be a little disappointing after finding all Alco power situated on the wrong end of the train. At least the coaches on our train were once self propelled RDC coatches. With a little imagination the train being pushed through Goodwood almost appeared to be old CNR RDC&#8217;s rolling into town past the old town hall.</title>
