	<title>Comments on: Winter of 1970-71.  Venerable ALCO S-2 switcher CP 7042, is working Trois-Rivieres yard, where it was regularly assigned. My source indicates it was built by ALCO Schenectady in 1946, so it was then about 24 years old. The ALCO cast metal manufacturers plate is on the bottom right of the cab, above the cast CP class DS-10d plate. 
I was the only visible railfan in T-R the two years we lived there.  The engineer seems be looking in my direction, hope I didn&#8217;t annoy him.   
Camera was a Yashica Mat twin lens reflex. Best suited for slow or stationary subjects, as the ground glass viewfinder reversed everything.</title>
