<title>Comments on: With class unit 7000 on the point, a yard assignment moves along the North Track of the Grimsby sub headed into &#8220;the hole&#8221; to serve industrial customers. At the time, most yard engines in Hamilton were MLW S4s supplemented by a couple of GM units assigned to &#8220;out posts&#8221; such as Brantford and Oakville. By the mid-1980s, SW9 and SW1200 locomotives would hold down most assignments (and SW1200RS units into the mid-1990s).</title>
