<title>Comments on: With permission I spent a long time measuring and photographing the three 1913 buildings at the CPR yard in Victoria BC. I Learned a lot about them. What was done well and what was badly thought out. All three buildings were a bit ahead of the times in their design and construction. Today the buildings have been sold and are being renovated to suit the needs of a private company. The attached photograph shows the northwest corner of the backshop as it looked during it&#8217;s last days as a railway maintenance facility. At the date I took the photograph the whole carshop and portion of the roundhouse structure were leased to VIA Rail. I can&#8217;t remember the actual date but it was in the last half of the 1990&#8242;s.</title>
