<title>Comments on: With plenty of power for a 15 car train and 50 mph track, this freight should make good time on its eastward trip across the Prairie North Line (PNL). It is likely No. 884 which was scheduled to leave St. Paul Jct (Edmonton) at 0805 daily except Sunday in the early 1970s according to an employee time table in my collection. The same document shows a meet with Railiner No. 691 at Lavoy (one siding east of Vegreville) at 1015. The Vegreville sub carded two eastward and two westward freights per day as well the North Battleford &#8220;Budd cars&#8221; in the early &#8217;70s. Power is an F7A/GP9/F7A combo with two of those units still in the classic green and yellow, 10 years after the adoption of the &#8220;CN noodle&#8221;.</title>
