Comments on: With Southern Ontario Railway out of the picture, a track maintenance contractor has apparently been contracted to haul hoppers to/from Ingenia. Well at least that was their intention. This is as far as they got before the truck lost traction and could no longer pull the four hoppers. I witnessed four or five attempts at the grade before I had to leave. I never really noticed the grade on the trackage that connects the former CN Burford Spur to the former TH&B but it’s enough to stall the Mack. Don’t worry Steve, this is my first and last truck photo. Does OSR make cold calls? They need your help! :)

They just need more weight on the drive axle. Load the truck up with junk ties and they'll be good to go... cough... cough...

This is gonna be interesting to watch unfold, are these just teething troubles or a major problem? I say they are better off with a Rail King or a Tonner

Aaron I hope you were able to shoot the SOR running on this line. You had plenty of time young man :) If you missed it, better kick your butt into high gear and get to Hamilton, Guelph , Kitchener, etc.. before it's too late.

@mercer - I did not see the solution but splitting up the cars would have been the most logical. Mooney's driving a Ford Flex, even better for hauling hoppers!
@Steve - they took all four hoppers that 580 had set off for them. There has not been a return run yet.
@Aaron - it was around 12:30 when the truck got on the rails at Grey St. When I saw it I didn't put two and two together until I realised 580 had just set off hoppers and the truck was there to haul them. Funny, Pathetic... so many emotions. :)
