<title>Comments on: With the sun shining and the birds singing, it is a gorgeous August morning as Canadian Pacific train no. 40B races along the Belleville Subdivision at Cherrywood. Fresh out of Toronto yard, the train will make good time across Eastern Ontario before changing crews at Smiths Falls and crossing into Quebec for their next show in Montreal.

Stephen Host and I chased the train 190 rail-miles east to Smiths Falls before calling it a day. Despite being out late playing rock n&#8217; roll the previous night and running on less than 2 hours of sleep, it was an exhilarating chase that was well worth the early morning. Thanks to everyone who kept us west-enders &#8220;in the know&#8221; on our chase from Toronto to Smiths Falls!</title>
