<title>Comments on: With the weekend of the Waterloo Railway Expo approaching, the smell of coal smoke once again fills the air in St. Jacob&#8217;s. The steam crew at Waterloo Central has been hard at work making final preparations on the 1923 MLW 0-6-0, returning to service after a three year restoration. The major work includes a new firebox, rebuilt air compressor, rebuilt dynamo and upgraded electrical components, the 6 brake replaced with a 26L brake system, and the installation of a Lempor exhaust to improve draft. Shortly before departure, the boiler is blown down, and 9 will momentarily roll off the shop track to lift 5 coaches and van to begin a few test runs halfway to Elmira.</title>
