Comments on: Working the customer – seen here shoving cars into Gillies Lumber on the Galt Industrial Spur built around 1967. With a long train of cars still on the ‘main’ at rear – after finishing Gillies 582 returns to the former Fergus Subdivision and shoves to Hunt Haulage before returning to Guelph and Kitchener.

Four day a week service now (mon-thur). This train was exceptional though, there’s a bunch of idlers and a Caboose for Babcock and Hunts does take quite a few centrebeams (precast or drywall I forget exactly what). Flochem has 5 or 6 spots now too.

Appears things have turned for the better on the old Fergus Sub. I remember only two day a week service and limited traffic heading down the branch.
