Comments on: Working the north end of the busy Brampton Intermodal Terminal, CN’s main Ontario intermodal facility, yard Geep 7246, slug 257 and road Geep 4108 shuffle around well cars and containers into trains bound for all points across North America. In the background, piggypackers and container cranes can be seen loading and unloading containers between trucks and railcars that 7246′s set spots. Just behind the power, CN intermodal train #114 with recently repainted Dash-8M 2434 and a BC Rail sister is seen arriving and waiting to pull ahead, with more containers to unload. If it looks cold, it was: winter’s grasp had not left in this February shot, and it was a very cold few minutes spend on the top of the windy Highway 7 overpass to catch the action.

You know how this line leads to the Chrysler Bramalea/Brampton plant and is used as a pullback by intermodel trains. I seen that the plant resonantly added a facility where automobeals get shipped out by rail. Dose the train come to switch that industry out at night. I live a few km from here and hear horns between 10-12 pm so I'm wondering if that's when the auto racks get switched out. I'm also wondering if they get switched out daily or few times a week. Thanks
