CP used a few B’s in hump service out of Alyth with GP7 & GP9′s in GP-B-GP sets after they retired the last 3 Trainmasters from hump service. A pair became 6800′s and later 1000-series slugs (sold to NRE in 1999). One of them (1019, ex-6801) was purchased by NS for unknown reasons not too long ago.

I stand corrected. All that I saw in the coming years were pairs of GEEPs. I should have checked my CTG.

Actually that F B-unit lasted quite a while after this pic, I believe it wasn’t retired until 1999.
