Caption: Rather fortunate while waiting for a non-descript westbound CN to have eastbound VIA #72 with a very clean 6531 on the nose pass below me for a good 'meet' image. The westbound is a trio of Widecabs, common at the time, CN 9590, 9563 and 9510, train #425, according to my notes. March 1st was a Wednesday, so it is quiet at the Junction; and the blue Jeep in the photo belongs to fellow rail enthusiast Pete Hoople. This photo, as the last RP. upload taken at this location, was shot with colour sheet film, 4x5 inch neg., using an old Speed Graphic. Purchase, processing and an 8x10 image printed would set me back $10+ PER shot, which is why I didn't shoot too many photographs with this format.
