With no number on the cab whatsoever, I can't believe this locomotive can lead a train, nonetheless another fine example of CN's locomotive roster leads 148 passed the station in Brantford. Passing on the north track is 385 with dead CN 5427 2nd unit. The train stalled on Dundas Hill with only CN 8846. CN 550 ended up pushing 385 all the way to Paris West.

    I would have refused this as a leader. Done it before. At least it makes for an interesting and “colourful” photo. Nice shot!
