The last day of my vacation and I thought I'd struck gold with three SD30ECOs (5018, 5001, 5005) on this eastbound empty coal train. This class was in the process of being transferred west for testing in coal train service, usually in the company of a GE. Several hours later I would be through here again, this time on the eastbound Canadian heading for Toronto.

  1. Great shot! We need those units back east again!

  2. Nice. I only managed to shoot two before they went out west.
