After viewing Mr. Mooney's photo I did a little searching & found this auxiliary hook at the same location. It appears to be steam powered. I never saw it in operation. Was always on standby. If my memory serves me correctly it went to London for scrap. Any updates or corrections?

    Oscale: Enjoyed your picture of the C&O crane at the St Thomas Ont.C&O roundhouse. I took three pictures at the same site in 1982 when the grass was green & cut. The pictures show some vans,some M of W equipment,& the roundhouse. No locomotives were present. Send me your E mail address & I will forward them to you
