By rail and water: CP C424 4226 is at the "end of the line" in Owen Sound, the northernmost part of the Owen Sound Sub from Orangeville. Parked nearby, Ontario Northland's car and passenger ferry M.S. Chi-Cheemaun (built in 1974 by Collingwood Shipbuilding) is stored for the winter, off of her usual Manitoulin duties on Lake Huron. The last train up here was on October 31st 1995, before the line was abandoned and removed by CP.

  1. Great shot Bill. And thanks for the history. I modelled 4221 back in 1985, when the line was abandoned. I never got the fuel tank right though.
