To celebrate the completion of renovations on Northern Pacific built station at Miami Manitoba, the local historical society brought in the PDC train and a loaned CN SW1200RS (CN would not allow 4-4-0 3 on Winnipeg to Morris section). The excursions ran west from Miami to Somerset and is pictured here on the loop climbing out of the Red River valley via the Pembina escarpment.
