The 1082, 1076 and 1069 have just finished lifting the loads at the Gibbons elevators and are now headed to Edmonton. The time is 11:00 yet the shadows are long. Mine is at the bottom of the photo. Something that usually only happens when taking pictures at the very end (or beginning) of the day in summer. This photo spot is immediately south of Gibbons but has changed somewhat from this moment.

  1. I admit that it took a bit of an adjustment when these ex-NAR units first started rolling by. So used to seeing 4 stacks with spark arresters that 2 conical stacks always left you with the feeling that something was missing. :-)
