I was waiting on pins and needles all afternoon that this sulphur train would return home with the sun shinning and lighting up my fav evening picture taking locations. Here is the result. Keeping your fingers crossed really does work sometimes. This picture is in, what I consider, the top 5 of my slide collection. I had been watching these F-units for over a year and kept wishing they would put them together in an ABA set. Finally in the summer of 1985 they did just that. Thanks diesel shop guys. :-) (time of photo 18:30)

  1. Fantastic photo!! Those Fs are my favourites.

  2. Marcus & Steve, thanks so much for your very generous comments. :-)
Wow Mike! Your comment has totally nailed why I consider this photo to be in my top 5. Back when taking this picture, I wasn’t framing/shaping to include cross bucks or pole lines. I had to much frantic going on to just photograph the F 7′s. When the slides came back and I saw this one, I knew with a little cropping it will make a dandy photo. A very big thanks to you. :-)

  3. Pole line. Cross buck. A-B-A F7′s… jackpot!

  4. Forgive me if I have run out of compliments. I think I have used them all up, already. :o )

  5. Another beauty shot :)

  6. Gorgeous. This is perfect.
