CP 9829 and 8705 pull off the siding after meeting with a westbound. The flat and open farmland makes for many  great shot opportunities. Definitely an area worth checking out if your looking for good countryside shots.

  3. Wow! That freshly sprouted crop has a green to die for. Spring is truly a great season. The windmill and silo are nice additions also. Very nicely composed picture Iain.

    When flipping the calendar to June and this was the picture for the month, I’d be a happy camper. :-)
