The grain extra is headed for Edmonton on a nice sunny January morning. Not the biggest of trains for 4 GMD-1's, 32 loaded hoppers and a few empty gons. The power is an even mixture of CN and ex-NAR, the 1069, 1082, 1081 and 1076. I surely do miss seeing trains like this as I expect many of you do also. Photo taken at the Redwater river trestle, time is 10:30.

Yeah, I bet the engineer was happy with the extra power too. Less worry about tonnage and 4 units on his ticket for a little extra cash in the wallet come payday.
