VIA 669 heads west through Pointe-Claire with VIA 908 (wrapped for Canada's 150th anniversary), followed by 4 LRC cars and 3 Renaissance cars. VIA's Renaissance cars do not operate between Montreal and Toronto anymore (where 669 is heading to) so I'm not sure why they were on this train.

  1. Now that’s an odd pairing… have they ever been paired before?

I’m surprised the Ren’s don’t run this way.. I’ve shot them coming back from Niagara Falls!

  2. VIA has had many issues with these cars. I was in the TMC and there are a few stored there. VIA does not want them in the corridor.

  3. Depending on your definition of the corridor, they still do run, as they can be found on runs to Ottawa and Quebec City from/to Montreal.

  4. Great Catch! It’s odd that they only have 3 Renaissance cars on this train, since they usually have 6 or so from what I have seen. Was the first one a baggage car?

  5. I mean Toronto Windsor Sarnia Montreal
