CP 2270 South, or CP T72 (the Wolverton Turn), which I think was the identification of this train, heads south towards Cambridge. It is pictured where the line takes a more north-south trajectory from an east-west one along Courtland Ave./Fairway Rd., originating from the CP/GEXR interchange. It is crossing Old King St. south of Fairway Rd. in an area of southeast Kitchener known as Centreville. Good morning to do some spur of the moment local railfanning!

  1. Nice one Kevin! Shooting a train on this line has been on my bucket list for a while now! Nice angle also being the fact that you were able to align it just right so no cars would obstruct!

  2. Thank you! This is in my hood!

  3. Guess this explains why we should always take our camera with us cause you never know when it may come in handy.
