Spring is in the air as a couple of lilys bloom in this nicely manicured backyard complete with a quaint all wood railway trestle. The pair of pups on this day's Cayuga job fit perfectly on the bridge as they head light power to St. Thomas and onward to work St.Thomas, Aylmer, Tillsonburg, and Courtland. The day was mostly cloudy with a few sunny breaks, and the sun came out for me right when it counted and I was thankful for this one to turn out. You can shoot this pretty scene from putnam road without issue.

  1. Very nicely done!

  2. With how nice the lawn looks, you almost expect to see a tee box by the little shack. The OSR has one of the most amazing rosters, what variety.

  3. You got that right – it’s fair to say there’s always a good time on the OSR.. plus this property owner takes obvious pride in how it looks. Thanks gents.

  4. Not sure I understand the nose to nose configuration. Surely not the best option for grade crossings? Also, any chance these unit will receive a T,H&B copy cat paint scheme? The red could serve as the primer!

  5. Nice scene Steve.

  6. Stuart you’ll have to ask railroaders and/or OSR these questions. All I know is two F units barely fit on this bridge.. the pups do.

  7. Cool shot Steve, as for the configuration better visibility for switching.Agincourt Yard always used pairs like this on the “pulldown” jobs.
