Pictured here at Watford West, 509 makes the eastward journey back to London on the last Saturday of summer 2019. They had about 50 or so cars in tow behind them. This was one of those Saturdays when I'd hoped for a 514 but settled for a trip to Sarnia instead. Not long after arriving I found 509 and chased it east, figuring I'd have to head back that way anyways and didn't think I'd do much better than 2022 leading.
