The 1400 is coming out of "the hole" with 1444 in the lead on a nice spring evening. The only problem with Hambone, as Arnold affectionately calls Hamilton is the roughness of it all near the tracks, and it's only getting worse. Let's just say the squatters found by the rail line are none too friendly anymore, and if you venture off any beaten path you have to beware of things like used Needles and the like. But I went under a pedestrian bridge to get this shot - not sure I'll do it again. One thing is for sure - make sure you have puncture proof safety boots (which I wear due to work). I'm honestly starting to think twice of some of my Hamilton adventures in the past few years! Sticking to grade crossings and public walkways generally OK (Victoria Ave ped bridge by candy factory - be careful though! - squatters)

Caption: The 1400 is coming out of "the hole" passing the Dwarf at 0.01 N&NW spur governing movements back onto the Oakville Subdivsion. Naturally what dragged me out this evening was 1444 in the lead on a nice spring evening - the Government of Canada hopper lifted from CVO (Bunge) Bayside is an extra nice touch IMO.

    LOL@snake…Stephen is right though. I have had to get out there many a time to line the switch for the service track and there are some “shady” characters hanging out there.

    Haha@AW..the only time i was “shady” was when i had to call the RTC to report the “foamers” when they were trespassing to get that perfect “shot” :-)

    Shhhh..lol@ Snake2. I am have been a “foamer” since i was 10. Luckily i was able to live the dream and do what i loved every day. I am a “secret foamer” :-) Don’t ask, don’t tell ..lol
