The GO station at Mount Pleasant (control point here is named Norval) offers a bit of a different view even with a bit of clutter thrown in. CN train 570 lately has been a good source for catching soon to be stored Dash-8's. Last week it ran with a full trio of them. Today one of the older GEVO's is up front as the power digs into the slight grade leaving Halton Hills behind them. The two trailing Dash-8's have been assigned to this train for a few weeks now.

  1. Back to the future? Tomorrow is February 13th. Can you give me the winning lottery numbers?! :)

  2. Never heard of 570…also note the string of open hopper cars. Nice catch!

  3. Kevin, those are new AIM gons out of NSC

  4. @Kevin. 570 has been around forever. It was kind of my regular job for awhile. CN uses it for varied assignments. It usually ran to Oshawa, but I have run to Belleville, London, Aldershot and Ft. Erie under the 570 assignment.

  5. Thanks guys…I guess I never heard it on the radio before…but then again, I’m not making it out much lately :(

  6. Why are the Dash-8′s being stored? Nice catch with the BCOL unit btw.
