My grandson wanted to see a train that goes fast so off we ventured to try and catch a CP 651 we thought was coming. We were just approaching Moffat and my phone started going off steady but I was driving and couldn't answer. We got to the Conservation authority driveway and that's when I read about this guy. The sun is perfect, the train is good, the company is even better. CP 147 with SD70ACu CP 7028 and CEFX 1055 for power, accelerate out of Guelph Junction past Mountsberg with their load of auto racks headed to Wolverton. Even the horses stopped for a look.

  1. Yet another with a ditch light problem

    seems to be spreading.

  2. Excellent image and it’s so great your grandson wanted to see a train that goes fast !

  3. It is a little odd, that light was working okay just a few days ago on your Feb.23 photo Steve, as it exited the Weston Tunnel.

  4. Tell me about it. Well 7014 was on 246 yesterday and again, ditch light out.

It’s an epidemic. Thank god it’s not out in my photo.

  5. I think you were referring to CP 7010, Steve; but yes; the last two Heritage leaders I have seen both ran with a ditch light out.
