On this gorgeous day we find ourselves just west of the Walkerville JCT mile bored with CP 235 lead by  Heritage Unit, CP 7018 slowly approaching. CP 7018 wears the 1950-60s heritage scheme with block lettering.

  1. Any idea where the intermodal on this train comes from and goes to?

  2. 235 originates at Agincourt and terminates at Oak Yard in Detroit. I’d assume the container traffic itself comes from Montreal most likely. This traffic was handled by 142/143 when they ran to Chicago via Windsor, but when they were routed through Ohio to Fort Erie 234/235 began handling Detroit bound intermodal traffic.
