Savage SVGX 7402 is 1 of 3 units sitting it out during this idle time at AltaSteel. With the stacks capped, it may be on its way to somewhere else, going for repair/maintenance or not expected to be needed for some length of time. I have little knowledge on this SW1500. A quick internet look indicates this unit has worked at a number of different industries. It does have a simple and attractive paint job.

  1. SVGX 7402 was new for USSteel -Minnesota Taconite operation, 953. It has subsequently been LTEX 9553, then ADM(X) 0953 at Marshall Minnesota; then JLCX 953 before sold to Savage Co.
It was delivered with the small square tank and the flexicoil trucks.
