Seeing double, The 0700 yard job switches Hamilton Yard with GMD-1 1408 which had recently arrived from Winnipeg, and GMD-1 1439 waits for a crew to arrive to begin work. Notice how 1408 lacks a nose door and 1439 has one. Curious to why?

  1. Because 1408 has a different cab set up then 1439.

  2. Great shot Mr Host

  3. Thanks gents.

  4. Would you happen to know what the differences/variations in the cab setups between 1408 and 1439 are by chance?

  5. 1408 I believe is set up to lead long nose where as the 1439 is set up to lead short hood
