Caption: Daily except Sunday train 76 curves out of Hamilton under early glowing light. Assuming an on time departure from Hamilton station at 0700h, the time should be about 0705h as the train approaches the bridge over the Desjardins Canal. On the point today is CNR J-7-c, 4-6-2 Pacific 5299, built by MLW in July of 1920, and scrapped less than a year after this photo in March 1959.
Steve Bradley would shoot CNR 6060 here on July 19, 1980, 22 years to the day later with an excursion as seen from the other side of the tracks.
