Thanks to a call from a friend who saw these guys leave Snider, I redirected my plans for the 388 with a BNSF leader on a windmill train to find this guy in Brampton. It only took a few years, after a pair of GTW were together in Sarnia in 2018 (Marc Dease) a frenzy was created in the Toronto area as these two may remain paired for a while. Who knows? Let the frenzy begin. To the crew, if you're reading this: now you know why :)

  1. Got to love the new plow on 5849

  2. James Knott and Mark M. Will know along with any other Hamilton fan why it was replaced..

Thing was very low and scraped many a crossing in Hamilton in 2020…

The Brampton Diamond incident was the last straw

  3. Nice Steve, who needs the CN Heritage unit when there’s still the real deal.

  4. Good grief…

  5. Thanks Gang, Marc – Great to hear from you. Missed you in Sarnia over new years eve – I was in town for two nights! Going to be a while before we go again, I’d bet on two months. We’ll see.

  6. This pair only went out twice and has been broken up.
