It has been a number of years since ONT 503 last worked a derailment on the ONR. It now sits dead on a yard track outside the ONR shops in North Bay seemingly waiting for its next call that will never come.
ONT 503 is an Industrial Works 160 ton wrecker, serial number 3980, built in 1919. I think she looks pretty darn good for 104 years old! :-)

  1. She sure does! I rellllllllly hope she’s saved by a museum and not sent to the razor maker

  2. With both North Bay Salvage and AIM Recycling just a stones throw away from where the crane currently rests, I’d put my money on razor blades rather than a stuff and mount at a museum. ????

  3. Would be nice if it could find its way to Capreol.
