CN 4100, one of the lightweight freight/passenger service GP9's assigned to Spadina Roundhouse, works a local freight switching on the Newmarket Sub just south of St. Clair Avenue station It's seen switching the lead on the east side along Caledonia Road leading to Darrigo Brothers, Caledonia Food Distributors and Meschino Banana Company.

The building and loading dock for Pietro Culotta is visible in the background, along with a PGE reefer spotted at one of their sidings. Due to its proximity to Little Italy, this area between Davenport and St. Clair had numerous Italian and Portuguese wine and produce suppliers that received grapes transported in reefers from California.

Also of note, this spot north of Davenport along Caledonia was once the site of the old N&NW Davenport Station, replaced by the new CN St. Clair Avenue station to the north in the early 1930's when this section underwent grade separations for Davenport and St. Clair.
