So it is a very cold February day and I am out on the harbour ice for a change (why not?) as I know #432 is coming out of Hamilton. Just did this to try a different angle. CN 2007, 5518, 5563 power this now eastbound train seen rumbling over the old Valley Inn Rd bridge on its' way to Mac Yard. Recently this road has been closed to vehicular traffic and I would no longer trust the harbour ice.

  1. Good plan staying off the ice today. The stone abutments look much nicer than the cold looking concrete poured to allow for the third track to Hamilton Jct..

  2. Good point, lad. I had actually forgotten how much different it must look these days.
