In experimental paint, VIA 6532 is in charge of #74 at Paris.

Notice that the left side of the nose appears to be a lighter shade of yellow than that above the right number board, or the wrap-around stripe at the back. Does anyone know why? Just the same, it was a nice birthday present.

  1. Thanks for your comments boys. Bruce, I guess they used water colour paint.

  2. I have a colour print of 6532 taken by Bruce Chapman at the unveiling of that paint job, Ottawa Union station. I think she looks faded in your shot, James, simply from lack of quality paint.

  3. Congrats James – yer in the Time Machine now :)

  4. Nice Photo James!

  5. Via impersonation of a Tyco train set locomotive… life imitates art.
