It was a cloudy mid-June day in 1972 (The date given is as close as I can remember.), and I had my dad's Nikon which still had his roll of color print film in it. I was on the Spadina Avenue bridge looking down into the CN engine facility. Little did I know how much this area would change over the years.

  1. A great image of what a yard area looks like. Piles of ballast and sand scattered, weeds and grass. Scrap rail bits here and there. Main tracks clear of weeds and debris while rip track is beginning to be overgrown.
