Caption: By 1986, many of CN's F7u locomotives had been displaced from service in Western Canada and migrated east. Most held assignments in southern Ontario, such as the Hamilton-Nanticoke "steel train" which regularly used an A-B-A set. Here we see 725 leaving Hamilton Yard and about to head up the Escarpment via street-running on Ferguson Avenue. The train carried two cabooses/vans to facilitate run-around moves in Nanticoke and Brantford.
