The first train down the Belt Line since the Christmas Eve/Christmas snowfall encountered some troubles. With a pull of scrap loads from AIM, they stalled on the grade coming up from underneath the Grimsby Sub, and had to leave part of their train by Barton Street and burning out a traction motor in the process. They're pictured here heading back from Kinnear to grab those remaining cars, passing one of the old Belt Line customers - Lawson Lumber - on their way. The site has been closed for some time, although does host occasional TV/movie filming. Thanks to Lance for the info on Lawson, and many other Hamilton questions I have asked over time.
