Many of you that wander down to Fort Erie to catch the early evening NS transfer know how difficult the lighting can be. Both ways.
In June of 1978 it was no different some evenings. As now, often the transfer was late. The sun here was straight down the track. I did what I thought was best, and I guess it did not work out too badly.  Here we see CR 5793, 7647 and 5788 with the daily traffic for CN. I left after this, knowing the return trip would be hopeless for photography.
