In 1980, the Amtrak "Adirondack" still operated into CP's Windsor Station in Montreal, while the overnight "Montrealer" used CN's Central Station. The D&H PAs and conventional equipment have given way to a Rohr Turboliner. Here, power car 154 is trailing as the train departs for New York City. The RDCs at left are likely in West Island commuter service, although at this time VIA still operated RDCs to both Ottawa and Quebec City over CP's north shore lines (via Lachute and Trois-Rivières respectively), and much of that equipment would have still been in CP colours.
