The Amtrak rare mileage tour continues. The "Maple Leaf" has almost completed its detour over the N&NW spur, and will rejoin the Grimsby Sub in about half a mile. This shot is another interesting "then & now" comparison of Hamilton's industrial scenery.

  1. Compared to today the area is very well kept.

  2. Unreaal.

  3. Wow. That’s bad ass.

  4. That’s quite the detour. It’s amazing how nice this area looks compared to today.

  5. That’s quite something to see a passenger train down there.

  6. Nice to see this one resurface. I’m pretty sure this is a Reg Button photo, I have a slide taken after on the same day at the same spot by Reg showing the power passing the Dofasco sign.
