Before the trees reached puberty and put on a growth spurt, this shot was still possible. It was accessed via Binkley Road, about halfway between Dundas and Copetown off Highway 99, and gives a pretty good view of the ruling grade on the Dundas Sub.

An eastbound, headed by 5511, 5041 & 5517, none of which are dynamic brake equipped, slips down the escarpment from Copetown, with nary a whisp of brakeshoe smoke.

  1. Cut em down!!!

  2. It’s a forest now Cameron. The chainsaw is liable to attract unwanted attention.
