A trio of SD40-2W's (5321, 5279, 5325) pass a surviving grain elevator in Mayerthorpe, AB, working westbound with 515's train to Whitecourt. For me, it's hard to believe that such as shot is still possible in 2018. 1538hrs.

  1. What a great shot! I looked at the thumbnail image and thought it was from the 80′s.

  2. Nice catch Mike! Did you get to experience this neat freight navigate the Rochfort trestle?

  3. Thanks guys. Glenn, I actually shot two on the Rochfort trestle this day… about two hours ahead of 515 was 747, a pair of SD75I’s and about 100 rock cars.
