After a lengthy delay at Hornby with power issues, CP sent the power from CP 244 to rescue the train. The sparkling new CP 8204 (former CP 8517) took over the lead and with EMDX 7205 made their way westward. I never heard anything about the EMDX, so it came as quite the surprise. With a clearance straight through to London, they pass through Guelph Junction with a pair of gentleman headed to the quarry for an evening swim.

  1. Did they have a mid DPU or was CP trying to get the EMDX pull solo?

  2. Glad you got it

  3. Thanks Curtis.
I don’t know the original power. Maybe some one from Toronto way saw it earlier.
