AMT 1342 pushes EXO 1202 from Mascouche past the Peel Basin. Until these trains were rerouted on CN's Montreal Sub a bit under a year ago (due to the closure of the Mount Royal tunnel), F59PH's had never operated through here.

  1. Still can’t believe they aren’t rerouting them this way permanently.

  2. Why would they? This is a very indirect and lengthy route, including crawling through Taschereau Yard.

  3. Better than just cutting it off short of downtown and letting everyone crowd the REM and already over capacity metro.

  4. Most Mascouche trains do just that right now – they start and terminate at Ahuntsic Station.
